Assistant Professor

Research: Dr. Annemieke de Jong is the Florence Irving Assistant Professor of Dermatology. Her research focuses on T cell functions in human skin, in particular the role of lipid-reactive T cells and the lipid antigen presenting molecule, CD1, in maintaining effective barrier immunity. Further, Dr. de Jong serves as the Director of the Translational and Precision Medicine Resources Core of Columbia University’s Skin Disease Resource-based Core (epiCURE), and is involved as a co-investigator in autoantigen discovery work as part of the AACORT.
